Focus: The focus of this lesson is for students to read
the text and to answer questions based on the text. After every question
students must rate their confidence level. This will tell me how students feel
they are doing academically when reading
and answering the questions. I will be
able to target students needs and students will be able to see their own true
understandings.
Knowledge of students to inform teaching: Students should know good reader skills. Students should high
light important information as well as number paragraphs. These skills should
make referring back to the text easier for the students.
